Days 4 and 5!

Since I didn't post yesterday, I'll just include it in today's post.

Yesterdays weigh in was 259.8, so that was a 1.5lb loss.
Today weigh in was 257.4, 2.4LBS!!!! YIIIPPPPPPEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!

I'm so excited! So far my total weight loss in 5 days is 8LBS! It's getting easier and easier to stay on this diet. 500 calories was ROUGH the first couple days, but I think my body is getting used to eating less now. I'm trying to snack through the day, instead of eating everything at once. I feel like that way, I'll always have a little something in my belly, so I'm not as hungry. I do still get hungry, but if I keep myself busy, I don't even realize lol. I'm hoping that tomorrow will put me at the 10LB loss mark.

I even made some homemade chicken/veggie broth today which was super yummy. Not to mention...SO EASY! I don't know why I waited this long to make it! Screw canned chicken broth with all the MSG and other crap...at least I know what's in my soup now! It's all fresh ingredients...excellent! Even the boiled chicken tasted good...ate that along with the celery tops and half an onion I put in the broth, for lunch. It was seasoned so well too from the water, it was absolutely delicious! The only bad thing, is I don't know exactly how many calories are in it. Justin and I guessed about 20 calories per cup...so if I use it to cook with, I have to add that to my daily count. But 20 ain't bad...I just hope it's no more than that lol. I have a lot of soup recipes to try and they all sound really good, so the broth with come in handy...obviously!

Anyway, I've got to get working on making some hair bows...I need to send my sister a big batch. Her salon will be selling them, how exciting! I have some business cards coming, have a phone number already...just need to work on a website and stuff. Hopefully my great find Dee will help with that :)
